Easel Card Overhaul for Creative Inspirations Easel Card Challenge

Hello my ladies, it is Wednesday,
time for another challenge at
Creative Inspirations,
and as the title indicates,
it's an EASEL CARD challenge, yahoO!!
Quick, what do Michael Jackson and Tilda have in common?
Will it be a nose joke??
She's not wearing one glove, so that can't be it...
Why, it must be those shoes then!!
And R.I.P Michael, or Aruba,
whichever theory you're privy to believing.
Just funny how anytime something BIG
is happening here in American politics,
Michael Jackson pops up,
been touching kids in their no-no's,
dangling babies off a balcony,
turned himself white, for the love of Pete.
It's him, or Brittany Spears.
"Brittany, things are getting hot here in Congress,
we're gonna need you to flash your cooter,
that will take their minds at ease as we
pursue this ever-pointless War on Terror."

Woah woah woah.
I don't do politics.
This is why.

Soooooo, how have you all been? Well, I hope!!
I finished that revamp I eluded to in my last post,
make no mistake about it, I am cheating!!
Using the same project for different samples.
Naughty, I know,
but most of my stuff is still inaccessable
and time has not been on my side either.
Now before I launch into another rant,
let me show you what you're here for:

This is Sweet Tilda coloured in distress inks and glittered with Stickles and Icycle Stickles, she's layered and popped up on foam dots, with her "aura" a lovely shade of Faded Jeans, the delectable papers are from Magnolia as well, not from them, they are FROM Kellie aka Wafflelicious of Tickled Pink Stamps, they are BY Magnolia, phew, it's getting late. That delectable ribbon and bow, oh yumminess, the fabulous Elise sent them my way, as well as some of the flowers you see here, thanks again Sugarplum.

I took some pearls strings and smooshed them ever-so slightly to make flourish-esque shapes and cut off some of those neat Dollar Store sprigs I recently scored and glued some into my little flower pile, the sentiment is a little section of a Penny Black sentiment, the "love" charm is by Blue Moon Beads and the "made with love" heart charm I bought from 7 Kids and I can't remember the name of the company that made them.

Well, thought I should tell you all that I inadvertantly chemically aggravated my sinus passages with oven cleaner, CLR, Comet and Clorox used within a relatively short proximity of time and in a seperate state of affairs, had to take my son to the hospital because he has/had aqcuired a disturbing bacterial infection. Aren't we a fun bunch. So add that to my pile of good times, lol. I apologize for being a crappy blogger, there are many MANY visits that I'd like to make, but find myself without the time to do it right. You know me, a simple, "Nice Card" comment won't suffice. As for me and my chemical joys, well, inhaling houselold cleanserss for hours on end with already irritated sinuses is never a good idea, really, so that is how I am doing... As of about 4 pm today, I was able to walk without weaving and my ears seem like they will stop ringing soon? I hope.

Sooooo, I used this months Magnolialicious sketch, and that about wraps it up. Wow, now that is a waffle!! I hope you all are doing well, I've been running through my Google reader each morning checking out the little snippets of beautiful projects everyone is making and can I just say WOW!!! Lovin' it!! So much Tilda lately!! Who could resist? Certainly not me!! Until next time!!

Charmed, I'm sure!!

Hello lovely ladies,
welcome to another fabulous challenge at
Magnolia Down Under
where every week is a new adventure!!
This week we are hosting a Charm Challenge,
so I hope you will have time to create with us,
this week is an easy one!!

I am not sure what is going on with my computer and blogger but when I upload my work, it disapears!! This has happened twice in the last week and it pisses me off because make no mistake, I am hurriedly crafting to make "deadlines" just to have my projects vanish? What gives? Was up til 2 am last night working on this, it's gone missing!! Either that or I've been fired and no one has told me yet. Let's see if this post disappears too.

I am not going to go a type type typing up a novel just to have it disapear too so for now that is all, image and paper by Magnolia, all from the shoppe once known as Magnolia Down Under. Now let's see, will this post or won't it? Just let it be said that I will be dressing this card and this post up a bit more in the very near future.

Creative Inspirations Sketch Time!!!

Hello out there!!
How has everyone been out there in Blogland?
Hopefully all is well and good,
lots of crafty, creative time I hope!!
It's Wednesday and you know what that means,
a new challenge at
Creative Inspirations
is up and running,
and a wonderful challenge it is, indeed!!
Nat has whipped up one of her World-Class sketches for you all to enjoy and there is a delectable bundle of ribbon as the prize this week, not to mention samples that go above and beyond the realm of gorgeousness and into some outer limits dimension of lusciousness.
Too much?
What can I say, I love run-on sentences...

Here's my take on the sketch, of course I am missing a sentiment and instead have some lovely flowers on here, this is Fairy Tale Tilda from the new collection layered up to 4 times in various spots, painted with distress inks and Stickled in Crystal. The DP is DCWV, the laces are a fine selection of scrumminess from my friend Elise, as is the GORGEOUS red flower, the doiley was sent to me in one of The Amazing Sues fabulous rescue kits, the flowers and pearls are from my stash and the sprays of irridescent shapes are from The Dollar Store, yay!!! Went in for gloves, came out with so much more, lol.

I'm also going to pop this in over at
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge,
which is A DAY OUT,
Stamp Something
wants to see LAYERED SOMETHINGS,
and over at TotallyPaperCrafts,
there is a SPRING challenge.

And here's another picture of my little layered something playing outside in the lovely spring flowers, lol. She was stamped 4 times, I cut the wings out, glued the torso directly to the base image and left the wings loose, I then glued a few layers of the wings in on the inside tips only, so if one wanted to, they could make her wings flutter, I spliced top layer Tildas arms open at the sleeve and slid a cutout section of her arms and the frog into the sliced section, the arms and the main image are popped up on foam dimensionals, the mounts for the body loads thicker than those used for her arms and frog.

Well, it is past my bedtime, and tomorrow will be another busy day, lots to do, not nearly enough time to do it in, we all know how that goes!!
Take Care, my friends, drop me a line if you'd like, I'd love to hear from you!!

Creative Inspirations Brown, Blue and Green!!

Hello dear friends,
I am running behind with the post,
but here is my project for this weeks
CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS
this week and we have a good one for you, COLOURS!!
BROWN, GREEN and BLUE!!

Dear Edwin and his, eh hem, rooster... Edwin is sitting on an apple bucket, and I've used the chickies accesory stamp, painted with distress inks. My delightful paper is MIA, so I used regular cardstock and wow, what an experience... The DP is K & Company and the cardstock is Bazzill, Kraft and Guacamole, my faves!! Does that top corner look naked? Eh, too late to worry about that!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend, I'd love to hear what you did, if you'd like to humour me and leave it in a comment here, especially you ladies with young kiddos or young grandbabies, any funny stories? My kids had fun hunting for eggs, then rehiding them, again and again and again and again. Saturday night, my son and I were walking into our house and there was a bunny outside sleeping, and he excitedly exclaimed, "It's the Eastew Bunny!!" Too cute.

I've been a no-show lately, wanna know why? I bought a house. Yay yay yay!! Now I am in the process of packing and cleaning and cleaning and scrubbing, and running after my toddler and cooking and working and cleaning and cleaning and woops, while I was typing this my toddler ran out the front door again and cleaning and cleaning and... My hubster and I will do the actual moving this weekend, and then I have to go back to my apartment and clean it up before I turn in the keys. Yes, I will clean it, most people say just leave it, not me. I'll be haunted by it, gotta be spotless. Yes, OCD, for anyone thinking it, lol.

So wish me luck. I am trying to find a way to keep my blog fun while I am out of commision through the next couple of weeks, maybe a candy? A wacky story or two?
Take Care Friends,
Stephanne
