Somebunny Loves You Magnolia Card

Hello there,
finally back in my craft room and I have a new creation to share with an older Magnolia stamp. I'd been eyeballing this stamp for quite some time so I am totally excited to have her here!!

I coloured in distress inks, the paper is K & Co and I have used laces and a heart doily for my layering, I sanded the edges of the paper down and then went over it with scissors as well, the die cut is also Magnolia, as is the sentiment banner. The flowers and goodies are from my ever-growing stash, the gems are Recollections and the stamen is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here's another angle to show those flowery details!!

Mollie Mittens comes out to play for our TFWC mid-month reminder!!

Hello my blogging buddies,
how have you been?
Long time, no blog, right?
First I storm my blog with a post a day for 2 weeks, then disappear.
Way to be consistent, eh?
The weather has been far too delightful to stay burrowed down in my craft room, and the to-do list way too long (after these past weeks of mega-card making marathons) I don't know how the women who post and comment daily do it. But I am amazed...

Anyhoo, I do have a purpose for being on tonight,
I want to share with you all a card I made for our
mid month reminder post at
The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges
where our challenge this month is BIRTHDAYS
and our sponsor, the delightful Tickled Pink Stamps!!
Kellie has also added an additional prize to the line-up,
one of the adorable Mollie Mittens kittens drawn by Marina Neira
(did I just hear you say kitten mittens?)
so please do pop over and check it out.
We're the perfect excuse for you to use those cute little animal stamps you bought on a whim and don't know exactly what to use them for!! Use them for a birthday card and come on over and enter it at our challenge.
Geez, I'm getting all used car salesmen on you guys.
Enough of that, here's my card.

I used the adorable Mollie Mittens Sitting from TPS, she's coloured with distress ink pads, then popped up on a circle and scallop and doily combo, the delightfully pretty paper is by K & Company from their Paper Dolls stack, and the banner is a Magnolia stamp, butterflies punched with a Martha specialty punch. The "bling" is Recollections and the stickles is Diamond.

I'll pop this in at:
Charisma CardzSpring has Sprung
Dutch DareSparkle, Glitter, Bling
PaperTakePuttin on the glitz

Thanks for stopping by tonight,
have a splendid weekend!!

The paper is by Moxxie and my flowers were glittered in Diamond stickles. I folded down a square doily to frame the image and added a bit of lace and pink organza.

Whimsy Sneak Peeks - Day 4

Hello my friends,
and welcome to day 4 of our sneak peeks for
Today are we are showcasing our newest
sentiments and die cuts
by the talented Ann Vento of
Raindrop Echo Designs!!
Please head over to the
Whimsy Inspirations Blog
to see the creations the design team have made,
they are amazing!!!

I have used stamps from the Birthday Postage set and the new die cut that fits perfectly along these stamp shapes to create my faux-envelope card. I have also used a soon to be released image from Melissa Jenkins called Balloon Mouse. Seems sort of plain for a card, eh, but really fancy for an envelope!! I plan to write or stamp the recipients name onto the card like you would do with a letter when the time comes to give this card away.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!
I appreciate it!!

It's Yaaaaaaaaarrrrr Birthday, TPS preview

Hello hello hello!!
Yes, I have been a busy little bee
making lots of samples lately!!
Today I get to share with you a new image
from Tickled Pink Stamps'
Lil AllSorts range, Pirate Frankie!!

He was total bliss to colour, I actually spent way too much time shading and then cutting this cutie out, but it was very therapeutic, I hope the end result shows it, lol!! I utilized inspiration from Ila of Artfully Ila when creating this. I'd coloured up me hearty no problem, but when it came time to put him on a card, I wasn't sure what to do, so when I saw a recent card she made with all her clever embellishments and elements, I felt relieved!! Sort of a starting point for my own project, thank you Ila for being so awesomely talented!! Also from TPS are those pearl flourishes, you can find them in store HERE.

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see what all my design team sisters have created with our newest cutie pie!!

Whimsy Stamps MelJen sneaky peeky

Hello everyone!!
I am about midway through my craft-a-thon,
seems everything happens at once around my blog, lol!!
Today I have the pleasure of sharing a sneak peek
from the upcoming MelJen release at

These gorgeous new stamps will be available for purchase soon, in the meantime, enjoy our sneak peeks!! Please head over to the
Whimsy Inspirations blog,
where links to all of the ladies who have made sneaky samples are available for your viewing pleasure, lol!!

I've used the Spring Sitter Bunny by the amazing Melissa Jenkins, she's coloured with distress inks and layered up with foam dots, the papers are basic grey and the dies used are by magnolia.

I tried really hard to use the colours over at Colour Create this fortnight, they are yellow, white and green, which you can see I strayed a bit, but since it was my starting point, I am going to enter it over there, Cupcake Crafts is hosting an Old MacDonald challenge, I think you would find bunnies and cotton lace curtains on a farm!! And I will pop this in at PaperTake who are hosting an anything (with flowers) goes challenge!!

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with some Tickled Pink Action!!
