The Fuzzy Wuzzy Christmas Challenge!!!

Hello out there Blogland!!!
It's the first Friday of the month,
or technically will be in a very short amount of time,
and that means it's time for our latest challenge at
The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges!!

Before we get to the new challenge, we have some very special news to share!!! We Fuzzy Wuzzians decided it was time to expand our team and have the distinct pleasure of introducing the amazingly talented, superbly gorgeous design team members Emma, Ingrid, Julia, Kelly and Louise. Welcome to the team ladies!! We are so very proud and honoured to have them creating with us, thank you ladies for helping make our team that much more special :) With each of them having a unique talent and style all of their own, they are sure to bring us loads of inspiration month after month!! And the fabulous Kylie recently gave our blog a face-lift and it looks amazing!!! We're hoping the new look will clear up some of the confusion about what images can be used for our challenges: ANY!!! Thank you Kylie :)

This months challenge is an easy one for ya,
Christmas Something or An-Otter!!!
So some kind of a Christmas project
made with some sort of an animal image
and you can come and enter it in our challenge
for a chance to win some delightful prizes from
Whimsy Stamps, our generous sponsor,
who was kind enough to let our
DT play with their images too!!
Thanks Whimsy Stamps!!

Now I do love me a recycling project, and after I spotted a project created by the amazing Iris of Paper Crafting in Cocoa some time back, I knew I had to give these Prima tins a new purpose. They are too handy to throw them away, so why not make them gorgeous!! I also had some sort of a mental breakthrough with doilies after seeing Iris's post too, the distressing and glittering, she made it look so gorgeous that I had to try it out too. Such a copy cat I am. Thanks for the inspiration Iris.

Here's the side view where I adhered Echo Park paper, a strip of white paper that was punched with a MS punch. That delectable lace was adhered with my favourite stuff, Aleene's Tacky Glue.

And the snowflakes are a combination of a MS snowflake punch and a nesties die cut. I used pearl vellum paper for that shimmery effect on the bottom layer.

And here is the top of the gift tin. I coloured the adorably sweet Teddy Angel with Prisma pencils and added bits of star dust stickles to the wings. I went around the glow area of the gown with a clear copic spica pen.
"glow area" = the shadow ring that melissa adds to her images, lol.

The flowers I used are a mix of rivaling companies I probably shouldn't mention in the same sentence, lol!!! I've added touches of Star Dust stickles here and there and that swirl die is from Sizzix.

Here are some challenges I'd like to join in at:
Cute Card Thursday The Blues,
Saturday Challenge 3 snowflakes, 2 circles (image and back paper, 2 circles, lol) and lace

Hey, wake up!!
hugs, stephanne
