Whimsy Stamps January Sample Love and Hugs

Hi blogging buddies and welcome back!!

Today I have a sample to share for

this months releases at Whimsy Stamps

featuring the overtly cute kitten 

from the Love And Hugs set from the

2 Cute Ink line at Whimsy Stamps

illustrated by Heidi Schwoerer!!

I've painted in distress inks and gone with a little boys birthday sort of a feel to it, a very versatile set if you choose to play down the hearts, I sure do love me those multi-use images!!

I've also used the new Balloon Cluster Die designed by the amazing Ann Vento!!

Again, my photography is lackluster, don't let it distract from the cuteness of the stamps hehe.

Hi there blogging buddies!!

Long time, no see!!

Life has gone and thrown me some curveballs,

so stamping has had to take a backseat.

Alas, I am back with some samples for this months release 

over at Whimsy Stamps!

I've used some stamps out of the set Furry Friendship

 from the 2 Cute Ink Collection illustrated by Heidi Schwoerer and painted the image up in distress inks!! I've also used our Lace Doily Corner Die as well as some of this way too snazzy Lovely Lace tape!!!

I've posted my project early to ensure that it does, indeed, post before i head out to work this morning.

I used the darling Ruby designed by Sylvia Zet, she's coloured in distress inks and her outline was done in Promarker. The papers are Basic Grey. I have also used our Spell It Out letter set by Ann Vento to spell out the little ladies name who this card is for. Yes, her name is Ruby and she will be 5 on the 11th, so I know your mom won't let you online, but Happy Birthday Ruby!!!

Tuesday's October Whimsy Stamps Sample

Hi there and welcome to Whimsy's final October release day sample blog hoppity hop day thingymabobber!!

I'm posting this a little on the early side, just to make sure it actually goes live,

At long last, I have a sample to share using snazzy Whimsy Card Toppers, these ones are illustrated and coloured by Crissy Armstrong. 

The papers are Basic Grey and the little goodies are from my stash!! Perfect solution to that "Oh crap, Christmas is right around the corner and I simply do not have time to make everyone on my card list something!!!" problem we all face!! I feel disappointed in myself when I have to turn to Hallmark, and having such gorgeous precoloured images on hand will make card-making this season go by a little bit smoother!! I love to colour, of course, but I quite literally take HOURS to colour, so this helps out a ton!!!

Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps October 2012 rubber stamp and die RELEASE (Holiday Collection Part 2)!

And here is my card with the superbly precious Holly image by Sylvia Zet. Boy oh boy, do I feel like a lucky girl getting to play with such fine designs month after month!! 

She is, of course, painted with my beloved distress ink pads, glitteration done with Star Dust Stickles, shimmering courtesy of Pearl Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Snow was made using a DecoArt Snow Writer and adding Stardust Stickles on top. Lovely sentiment from the newly released Holiday Notables 2 set by the talented Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs.

Yummy flowers, right??!?! Oh yes, I have just gotten a delivery from Wild Orchid Crafts the other day and could hardly wait to play with them!! I was ever-so-lucky to win a WOC gift certificate, so many thanks to WOC and Kylie, the hostess of the prize!! Perfect timing, as I was needing some more floral gorgeousness!!

And those little snowflake cut-outs that I've added onto the snowy scene, well, they are the little cut outs from the Ornaments Border Die. An excellent second use for this die, as I have purchased many snowflake punches and dies, MANY, and all seem a little too big and bulky for the images. Not these!!! These are PERFECT!!!

The papers are a mix of Authentique and Magnolia, gems are Kaiser, flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and bells I found at Michaels but cannot recall the brand.

Yep, those who know me can already tell, this cutie was not quite done...

CLP Midway Reminder with Cocco the Bear

Mid month reminder post completed,

so here it is!!

When I got my greedy little mitts on these sweet Christmas Magnolias I preordered from Stamp and Create, I IMMEDIATELY started painting. Then..... then I painted some more and abandoned them!! How dare I?? Alas, Cocco has finally been given a home with this months gorgeous sketch from CLP!!

By now, I suppose it goes without saying that I painted in distress ink pads, the papers are Basic Grey, gems are Prima, sentiment is by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps, find these Winter Letter Seals HERE, flowers are a mixture of WOC and I Am Roses, I used a Martha Stewart branch punch and the Magnolia Doily Doohickey. See that little charm!! Got that with my order from Stamp and Create!! Thanks Lacey!!
