Today is Thursday and that means that the amazing Melissa Jenkins has some new images released over at Whimsy Stamps, this image is called Bibble Bauble Cauldron and you can find it HERE. In addition to the regular weekly MJ images, today Whimsy Stamps released a set of digital Halloween Sentiment tickets by the tremendously talented Ann V and you can find those in store HERE, I think they are a great touch and could see myself popping them on nearly anything or even printing out a whole bunch of them and having a fun raffle game for the kiddos, awwww, the possibilities....
I decided to challenge myself and NOT go for the overtly cute images to work with, but instead, make a card focused on an object. A challenge indeed, why, if it weren't for that little frog in the corner of the cauldron, I might not have been able to finish my task, lol!! So I needed a spell, as cauldrons are used for making potions, but didn't want to go and open up Hell's Gate or anything so I opted for Shakespear, lol. The papers are Martha Stewart (boo), 7 Gypsies (stripes) and Basic Grey (dots), of course, the colouring is with distress inks and touches of white gel pen and touches of Stickles.

The image was cut out and then reattached to another identical image with foam dots, keeping the background twiddly bits and background area is a good thing, it allows the attached image to pop even more. I distressed the bajeezus out of the area around the cauldron attempting to create an eerie fog-like glow.... yeah...
And that should do for now.
Don't forget to pop over to the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog, there's always lots to look through and admire there.
How is the Halloween crafting coming along in your craft room?

Awwww, this is my favourite season, so I am trying to get out there and enjoy it
but these cute stamps keep calling me back to my craft room, lol!!
