Hey there people of blogland,

has it been cold where you're at?

It's been arctic in Kansas these past weeks!!

Well, I finished this card up back in February but I never posted the photos. I think now is probably the right time of year to share it, though I confess, this is quite old lol!!

I stamped this extremely precious Sylvia Zet image called Berry (find her at Whimsy stamps!!)  on Arches watercolor paper and painted her with distress ink pads.

Have a spOOktacular Hallowe'en!!

Well hello hello to all of you out there

that might still have me on your feeds and readers

after all this time!!

Seems I can't manage my time very well lately

and have been on a bit of a crafting hiatus. 

Alas, I have returned to wish my crafting buddies

a very scary halloween

and share a project that has been in the making

 since last year when this adorable

was released by Whimsy Stamps

I am definitely out of practice

as far as blogging details goes, but I will try.

I painted the image with distress ink pads and pieced the image together with foam dots then distressed and inked my papers (sorry i don't know who produced these) and added bits and bobs here and there. Oh yes, that nondescript run-down will certainly help... The sentiment is manufactured by Stampendous.

Well, I hope whoever may be reading this is going to be having a lovely Hallowe'en tomorrow and it enjoying the lovely fall season!!

For my creation, I've used MelJens Lazy Susan Buggies image, it's been colored in Prisma Pencils and layered several times for dimension. I've used Star Dust stickles to give the white a little shimmer.

I'm having too much fun with Whimsy Stamps new 2 Cute Ink artist Heidi Schwoerers adorable little images and punny funny sentiments!! This one is from the JUST FOR YOU set, painted up in distress inks and paired with K & Company papers and Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I've also dipped into my Whimsy Stamps accessories and used some of that delicious Lace Tape as well as a flower charm to go with this little stinker.

I've used one of the images from the oh so cute JUST FOR YOU set released today for the 2 Cute Ink collection at Whimsy Stamps. I've challenged myself to do a clean and simple card and here it is!!! Fighting back those feminine inclinations to slather on the layers and add flowers, pearls and laces is a tricky situation. Even as I look at this, I want to add rhinestones and laces. But I must stay true to the challenge and let this little inchworm do the talking :)

Whimsy Stamps January Sample Love and Hugs

Hi blogging buddies and welcome back!!

Today I have a sample to share for

I've painted in distress inks and gone with a little boys birthday sort of a feel to it, a very versatile set if you choose to play down the hearts, I sure do love me those multi-use images!!

I've also used the new Balloon Cluster Die designed by the amazing Ann Vento!!

Again, my photography is lackluster, don't let it distract from the cuteness of the stamps hehe.

Whimsy Stamps January Release Sample

Hi there blogging buddies!!

Long time, no see!!

Life has gone and thrown me some curveballs,

so stamping has had to take a backseat.

Alas, I am back with some samples for this months release 

over at Whimsy Stamps!

I've used some stamps out of the set Furry Friendship

 from the 2 Cute Ink Collection illustrated by Heidi Schwoerer and painted the image up in distress inks!! I've also used our Lace Doily Corner Die as well as some of this way too snazzy Lovely Lace tape!!!

I've posted my project early to ensure that it does, indeed, post before i head out to work this morning.
