It's Yaaaaaaaaarrrrr Birthday, TPS preview

Yes, I have been a busy little bee
making lots of samples lately!!
Today I get to share with you a new image
from Tickled Pink Stamps'
Lil AllSorts range, Pirate Frankie!!


He was total bliss to colour, I actually spent way too much time shading and then cutting this cutie out, but it was very therapeutic, I hope the end result shows it, lol!! I utilized inspiration from Ila of Artfully Ila when creating this. I'd coloured up me hearty no problem, but when it came time to put him on a card, I wasn't sure what to do, so when I saw a recent card she made with all her clever embellishments and elements, I felt relieved!! Sort of a starting point for my own project, thank you Ila for being so awesomely talented!! Also from TPS are those pearl flourishes, you can find them in store HERE.

Whimsy Stamps MelJen sneaky peeky

Hello everyone!!
I am about midway through my craft-a-thon,
seems everything happens at once around my blog, lol!!

I've used the Spring Sitter Bunny by the amazing Melissa Jenkins, she's coloured with distress inks and layered up with foam dots, the papers are basic grey and the dies used are by magnolia.


I tried really hard to use the colours over at Colour Create this fortnight, they are yellow, white and green, which you can see I strayed a bit, but since it was my starting point, I am going to enter it over there, Cupcake Crafts is hosting an Old MacDonald challenge, I think you would find bunnies and cotton lace curtains on a farm!! And I will pop this in at PaperTake who are hosting an anything (with flowers) goes challenge!!

And tonight I thought I would share with you a picture of my little helper Ellias!! He has gotten over his shy phase and has turned into a ham!! He saw the camera come out and ran right over to lend a helping hand!! Here, he is showcasing yesterdays card (scroll down a bit) for us, heehee!! Thanks buddy!!

So then, I guess it goes without saying that my papers are by BG...

She awaits her Prince Charming...

Hello everybloggy!!
I hope this weekend has brought you lots of time to play with your stampy stamps!! I have gotten some crafting in, not as much as I would have liked, but still, certainly better than none!! I have a lovely Tilda creation to share, it is sort of a "concept card" in that I haven't out and out said Happy Valentines Day, but hope we all still get the idea by the use of that super awesome Calendar Stamp by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps!!


Tilda is coloured in distress inks, of course, and the papers are (dots) October Afternoon and (stripes) Graphic 45, and the little strip of heart paper is Pink Paislee, I have used some cardboard along with some lovely ribbons and flowers and brads from my ever-growing stash.


And a little bit more information on the Calendar Stamp, it comes with all 12 months that are perfectly proportioned to the main image, and the corner blocks are blank so that you can add the numbers as needed as the month goes on. A very handy image indeed!! For cards and little calendar altered crafts too!!

Deviish Donna plays over at Sketch Saturday-DT Whimsy Stamps

Hello my lovelies,
how have things been going out there in the Blogosphere?
I have been unbelievably busy with boring life-type stuff lately,
so cards have been slow-going, however,
nearly a week goes by and here I am with a new post!!
Today, I share with you the gorgeous Devilish Donna rubber stamp designed by Kenny K and sold at Whimsy Stamps, along with a charming coordinating digital sentiment by Raindrop Echo Designs from the Fast Lane set.


Here's a little close-up of this spicey dish for ya!! Coloured with distress inks, as per the usual, with a little bit of Prisma pencil for shading and spica pen for glimmering hair.


I am fighting with my inner voice right now, those corners look so nakee, like I need to pop a pile of pearls on there or something!!

Tilda daydreams on a Whimsy Stamps background and Tickled Pink Magnolia PreOrder info!!

Hello my friends,
gosh, it has been a while since I played with a sweet, sweet Tilda stamp,
and a very dear friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday and I bought this darling Maggie (and other goodies, lol) with it and I could hardly wait to colour her up!!


In Magnolia-related news, Tickled Pink Stamps has the new You Are So Special collection on pre-order, get them while you can, you know how those Maggies fly off the shelves!!!

So, we have established that I used a sweet and lovely Magnolia stamp (coloured with distress inks), but I also used a background stamp designed by Raindrop Echo called Life Defined and you can find it in stock at Whimsy Stamps!!!, as well as these snazzy Ticket Sentiments.



The butterflies are a MS punch and the stamped butterflies are a part of a Hampton Art image. The DP is Graphic 45 and I used my cuttlebug for all my shapes and scallops. The cute little heart brads were a present from a dear friend and they are manufactured by Recollections, glitter used is Diamond Stickles.

At Cupcake Craft Challenge they want to see something new, and I have taken it in the context of stash. New die cuts, new Maggie, new background stamp, new ribbon.

Snow Kitty comes out to play, DT Whimsy Stamps

Hey there everyone!!

Have things settled down for you all yet?

Done any after-Christmas bargain shopping?

Things won't be settling down for me any time soon!! My mom is flying in to visit for 2 weeks tomorrow, and I should be spit-shining my house, instead I am blogging, go figure!!

I have some fun news to share, I have hopped on over to the rubber side of things over at Whimsy Stamps, so it will be my greatest pleasure to now be playing with their digital images, as well as some of that rubber goodness!! Yay, thanks so much Denise, I am looking forward to this new aspect in my already thrilling Whimsy adventure!! And a little bit of Whimsy news, those new Kenny K stamps are in stock and shipping RIGHT NOW!!!

So, without further ado, I have a card to share, it features the snuggly sweet Snow Kitty by Melissa Jenkins, coloured in distress inks, glittered with Diamond Stickles, the punches are Martha Stewart and the embossing folder is by Sizzix for Basic Grey, and the DP is Basic Grey also. The sentiment is from a digital set by Ann Vento called Warm Winter Wishes.
