Tildas Berry Muffins

Hello my friends,
today is a brand new day in Australia,
Sunday, that is,
and that means that it is time for a new challenge
over at Magnolia Down Under,
we'd like to challenge you to make a
SHAPED CARD
For some of you talented ladies,
this is easy peasy, but for me,
this one was a head-scratcher,
so I was up all night,
at the last minute, naturally,
putting this muffin together...

I've used Tilda with Cowberry Muffin, I've used her muffin as a model for my muffin (quit saying muffin, right...), I drew out the shape myself, woohoo, added folded and glimmer misted paper to act as the cup, as well as some Martha Stewart punchwork to dress it up, much like the Love Muffin accesory stamp, ribbon to keep that momentum up, it is muffin madness I say!!

I've used the strawberry accesory stamp, popped up with dimensionals up to 3 times, I also added some flower wire twirlies to mirror the stamped image.

I've painted in distress inks, stickled the centers of the blossoms, I've used Copic Opaque White highlighting paint to clean up my edges and add Tildas dimples. The gingham and ribbon are from my stash.

How about some challenges?
Charisma Cardz Challenge 3D
Secret Crafter Saturday No Patterned Paper
Hrrrrrmmmm, well, that will have to do.
I see these mile-long lists on peoples blogs
and all I can manage is 2?
I must be slipping in my old age!!

I hope you'll feel inspired to think outside of the box and join us at our challenge this week at Magnolia Down Under. The samples are outragiously good once again, so at the very least, stop by for the inspiration!!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend,
I'll be back on Wednesday with my C.I. post!!!
Take Care,
Stephanne

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!! This is A LOT of work here! I don't know how you manage to pull this off so quick ... if it were me, I'd be there for a month cutting and coloring, needless to say .. thinking of an idea like a Muffin card! Wow woman! This is FABULOUS!!! I love the colors of this ... the red/black/white combo?! I've gotta try it one day ... it looks so clean and crisp! I love it! That ribbon with the charms is the perfect touch of course. And I'm looking, and I'm looking, and I'm looking ... still can't figure out how in the world you did that strawberry topping so perfect! You cut out those swirls on the side?! HOW?!!!! Am I just not understanding the concept of this? LOLOL!!! Well, it's fabulous crafters like you that keeps me inspired!!!!

GORGEOUS job my dear sweet friend!!!

Love,
Elise

Fabulous card - love the shape - one gorgeous piece and strawberries so yummy. The flower you commented on was a Prima one....I was on a mission to find decent stamens for you, but so far to no avail - they all have pearly things on the end, somebody must make something a bit more unusual!Cheers Claire x
